only 10 mins from home... yay~!

OK so i mentioned the beach - on Sat we spent a couple of hours there getting sandy - have you ever noticed what a ridiculous pre-occupation adults have with keeping clean and dry - we let it all hang out on the weekend...

At the beach, we ferretted around, dug holes, picked sea lettuce and slimed each other, found rocks, chased gulls and other general cavorting.

I LOVE the pig count here at this place. We have a hard time getting past the chickens at our market.

have walked down to the rock platform last couple of days, once in turquoise still snorklelishessness, and today in heaving surf conditions - we saw:
a spot to 'takeoff' should you be winged or using a hangglider..
