OLIVE THE OTHER REINDEER. A story about a dog, who thinks she is a reindeer, since she has heard the lyrics "...you would even say it glows, all of the other reindeer, used to laugh..etc"
I have bookdepositoryed it for christmas, and found it has also been animated. So here tis the link - seems to be Drew Barrymore as Olive?

Thanks for your comment on my blog, and the recommendation of "Applesauce and the Christmas Miracle." I tried to find an Australian book to reference in my post, but failed. When I was little, there was a TV movie called "The Christmas Visitor" about Christmas in the outback, and they talked about Kangaroos pulling Santa's sleigh, and one crazy Englishman insisted on burning a yule log even though it was summer. I've wondered about what Christmas in summer would be like ever since.
Btw Olive is one of the books I found for my giveaway.
