halfway...
21 weeks pregnant and i think my bump is same size as when Rex was 37 weeks and ready to be born! Hope you like how I am emphasizing its girth with a horizontal B&W stripe... Wish it were red and white.. Feeling good and very very excited about meeting our new person before Christmas!
Oaky and I spent some time walking around Kings Park this week - yes it is v beautiful and I love love love that a dog is welcome! And petted. By masses of Japanese schoolgirls I spoke to from Sapporo.
And here is this morning - Manning Markets - Rex and I had a snail and shared some HONEY ice cream from here!
Was lovely and almost makes up for me missing the Newcastle City Farmers Markets. Perth will never have penny's ponies...or this view.

we been busy
Hi and sorry for delay - have been entertaining Dug and Jude (M&D) and showing them the delights of the west coast. Also been doing some knitting. Looky Looky!
Disovered 'Maggies Shed' on Gnangara Road (yes I too recognised the name from a bottle o wine) in Upper Swan Valley. Bought a bag of mandarines and ate them before we had left the carpark, so got a few more.
More knitting to come!

special pancakes for the school holidays
Good morning comrades - saw this on 'Not Quite Nigella' this morning and thought I would link as it looks like a great idea to keep small troops entertained & fed.
Start with a squeezy bottle (like you may find vinegar / tomato sauce in at a beach kiosk. That's the trick! What other animals do you think would work? We would be all about jellyfish here.

Fleamarket finds: Hoot Hoot and the Cakies
This little fellow:
and this lovely:
are new here
These 'biscuit pillows' in the background are repurposed from my foam mattress and they have been a HIT in the cool weather. We have made houses, tunnels, cubbies, bedrooms and a coffin (!!?) which means I get to do some laps all on my own, without 'help'!
