oh my goodness. I do not relish the task of poor lady green tea and nails for the vintage sheet swap.
My FQ's are washed, ironed (!!!), snipped and ripped, folded (thanks kirsty), stacked, wrapped, packed and soon en route to queensland...
Would love to be on the end of all of those parcels... Until I had to organise and send them all on their merry way again... Thanks Kellie.
And this one i cannot help but share. Oh that bottom...

flea market finds
Spent a glorious few hours shopping and chatting and looking and asking, and wishing, at the perth antique and collectors fair on Saturday...
Blew cash on these two items:
a piece of barkcloth, now all matchyd up with some colour inspirations, trying to work out how to become a bedspread....(dare i say quilt??)
and these fabbo roadside safety lights direct from the uk - they seem to have at least 3 coasts of paint (red, yellow and the now green) have gorgeous inlaid red glass, and they are waiting for a party...
Lucky in love with these at the local oppy for 99c each last week:

our creative CHAIRS - before, during & after
So, these chairs came from Coota, and just LOOK AT THEM NOW!
bEFORE
dURING: the puzzlement
aFTERS
Without my Dad, these would have weathered another 50 years, now they are just my kind of matchy-matchy... Upholstered with echino oilcloth from purl soho, stained in Black Japan then glossed, and wrangled back together with pursed lips, sweat and tears (surprisingly no blood!).
(repeat after me, i will never try to refurb chairs to a deadline again...)
