Newcastle days....

We have been riding and walking and exploring - this is the nature reserve track between us and the bluff. Beautiful coastal heath and fabulous views to the ships on the horizon... which i must say I also love as it reminds me only of here in Newy...

Saw 3 fabulous things in one day on Thursday last:
1. a SEAL! popping up at Nobby's beach - who knew!!
2. a helicopter (not a Johnson) landing on deck of coal ship exiting port (to collect the pilot I assume - that would be my profession of choice!)
3. a WHALE breaching as I walked back along the breakwall
MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC and none of it photographed anywhere but my mind.

Rexy enjoyed red nose day and we enjoyed him.

eeeeeek !

Sorry it has been some time
We seem to have developed complacency with camera, and me with b-logging. apologies. Here are some photos to make up...

Enjoying life in Newy - spent Sunday at a livesites event where Rex ogled over chickens and 'touch' a little pony. Pony was 'touch' by most of the under-threes in the Hunter that morning....

Big news - we are 'landholders' - block next to the beach at Dudley is there for the dreaming about now. Here are photos of corner and the 'dance of the theodolite' Rich and Matty

This photo of Rexy on the fire-trail at front of block - kicking around with the dog in the puddles... The start of things to come...

Rexy has now had a SERIOUS haircut - here is before / after (which you know I love!)

Here is a photo - loooouuuunnnging on a new chair I picked up for $5 from a house we DIDN't win at auction - went back and splurged on the excellent goodies... Rex looking as though he may doff his cap (in between mouthfuls of rockmelon) and hitch his britches...

Mmmm Easter!

Easter eggs were a hit, as was our first 'baking' experiment - Chocolate Weetbix slice... You will see some here on Rex's face:
Photobucket

We loved watching Meggy swim at homebush last week, and cavorting with the cuz:
Photobucket

And then some more cavorting in the barn with the animals at the show:

The 'quack-quacks' were a hit - but sooooo many goats!

Curls-be-gone....

First haircut today - at Chrysalis with Skye....

The pictures tell all...
How many clients choose Maisy over Instyle or Vogue-living?
How many customers have a mag-mag not a cappucino cup?
Who has a look like this when they look in the mirror?

Photobucket

Skye won him over with a squirty bottle and a slightly happier face happened:

After it was all over (we were road-testing stairs)

No there is not much taken off Doug - he is NOT having a No2 on those curls.... !
