Newcastle days....

We have been riding and walking and exploring - this is the nature reserve track between us and the bluff. Beautiful coastal heath and fabulous views to the ships on the horizon... which i must say I also love as it reminds me only of here in Newy...



Saw 3 fabulous things in one day on Thursday last:
1. a SEAL! popping up at Nobby's beach - who knew!!
2. a helicopter (not a Johnson) landing on deck of coal ship exiting port (to collect the pilot I assume - that would be my profession of choice!)
3. a WHALE breaching as I walked back along the breakwall
MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC and none of it photographed anywhere but my mind.


Rexy enjoyed red nose day and we enjoyed him.

We seem to have developed complacency with camera, and me with b-logging. apologies. Here are some photos to make up...

Enjoying life in Newy - spent Sunday at a livesites event where Rex ogled over chickens and 'touch' a little pony. Pony was 'touch' by most of the under-threes in the Hunter that morning....

We loved watching Meggy swim at homebush last week, and cavorting with the cuz:

The 'quack-quacks' were a hit - but sooooo many goats!

Believe it or not we are still on Level 5 restrictions here, although the dam is overflowing and the river pouring into the gulf. Council is still on holidays you see...

Merry Christmas Friends!

For RAIN!!!! YAY!!! Have not seen anything fall from the sky since we moved to the curry... Before the rain came on Friday, a dust storm whipped through town...

He is also spending a LOT of time in the nude, like his little friend under the fence:
