flea market finds

Spent a glorious few hours shopping and chatting and looking and asking, and wishing, at the perth antique and collectors fair on Saturday...

Blew cash on these two items:

a piece of barkcloth, now all matchyd up with some colour inspirations, trying to work out how to become a bedspread....(dare i say quilt??)
quilt colour 3

and these fabbo roadside safety lights direct from the uk - they seem to have at least 3 coasts of paint (red, yellow and the now green) have gorgeous inlaid red glass, and they are waiting for a party...
rail lights

Lucky in love with these at the local oppy for 99c each last week:
scarry

this was a rare find indeed - I do have many an ordinary trip.

for example: Same trip I was forced to pay $4.99 for some crappy plastic cars that just HAD to be had...

Great finds! The prices sure do vary don't they. We find the 'popular' (read:modern, plastic cheap stuff) is priced too high too but can get the things I love for a song :)

Yikes I got those same Richard Scarry books from the Oppy about a year ago.......they are still favourites with my kids. I love the illustrations of his earlier stuff.
