making making making - all in the name of the list of names and gifts on my project list! Am trying to do the 'on the horizon' birthdays and thankyou's before making a dint on the ones already past (sorry, you ALL know who you are... you miserable lot)
So this week (avert your eyes if you live on Robert St) is the cush... Made for lounging on floor and daybed as the sun goes down, this little number has wounded me both in fingertips and in spirit...
Made a matchy matchy set of little coasters to boot and they are soon to be zipping happily off to NSW and their new home. Happy birthday if you are listening my Mo (that is not mother btw) but NICK OFF - Auspost will have it to you v soon (or later). Patience woman!
ALso - started on some superheroes of our own, trying to avoid any more superman, batman, spiderman, ben10 idealism. Do you think this lovely lady's GOODIES and BADDIES will match it? buckley's right?
More craftiness at here:

ooh, nice... I love the gorgeous fabric for the cush and coasters - very 'lazy summer afternoon' :-)
Love the fabric for the cushion, its going to be great. Hope your fingertips have recovered. How cute are those goodies and baddies?

Yikes actual blood in the name of craft! Hard core. I'm impressed!
And re cables (your comment on my blog) they were my first and were REALLY easy (I promise!) and really a lot of fun. Added a bit of interest to a part of the vest that otherwise prob would have been a bit tedious. Let me know if you give them a crack!
You've certainly been a busy girl....
Love the cushion. And those "goodies and Baddies' look spectacular!
Beautiful, and those softies look fabulous!
those goodies and baddies look so cute! can't wait to see yours :) I'm amazed at how craftily productive you are managing to be with a newborn, great work!
love the super hero softies. almost fainted when i came upon the gory injury shot. you better get that public liability premium paid up
ooh hope your finger recovers!
cushion and coasters look great :D
Love the fabric you're using for cushion and coasters, super sweet.
Ouch for the finger! I've had a few of those with my lino cutting tools, to the point when I don't do it anymore when I'm too tired for fear of one day needing stitches!
Also loving that softie pattern - they are sure to make kids happy.
I love the softies, can't wait to see how it turns out!
p.s. the fabric on my blog isn't vintage, it's actually Anna Maria Horner's Drawing Room fabric. I ordered a meter of it ages ago and I've used it for so many different things!
Nice space this week!!
